Imagine having a flawless system for organizing information. One that helps you work effectively, telling you where to save new information, and how to find it quickly whenever you need it.

I've been developing such a model for years. I have coached tens of digitalpreneurs and freelancers on how to use it.

While each person customizes the model to better serve them better, I will be sharing the full version with you.

The PARRAGON Model

Here are the defining characteristics of the model:

Comprehensive: It covers a wide scope of various information types. This makes setting up a new app or even switching to a new app a straightforward process.
Fractal: Fractals are patterns that are similar across different scales. The PARRAGON structure is replicated and mirrored inside each area from the AREAS section.
Integrated: Integrates coherently with task, project, knowledge, and workspace management approaches.
Extended: The same lists are extended over multiple interfaces, allowing for maximum capability while keeping the lists unified.

Properties:

PARRAGON is an acronym for:

Projects: All my projects that have a due date
Areas: All my life responsibilities without a due date (indefinite)
1. Health - Vitality, Medical, and Fitness...
2. Wealth Career, Finances, and Investments...
3. Relationships - Family, Friends, and Communities...
4. Wellbeing - Spiritual, Hobbies, and Travel...
Repertoire: All my actionable knowledge like checklists, templates, and dashboards
1. Customizations - Accounts, Tracking, and Habits
2. Chronicles - Journal, Meeting Notes, and Schedule
3. Connections - Contacts, Communities, and CRM
4. Collections - Tools & Services, Playlists, and Movies...
Resources: All my courses, podcasts, articles, and notes
Archives: Inactive items from all the sections
Goals: Outcomes to achieve within 1 year
Overview: Life to live within 3-5 years
Northstar: Principles, Values and Life Purpose

Here's how I use the model in different apps.

You will notice that the lists on the left and right end with archives, while the one in the middle stops at repertoire.

This is because in your task manager there is no "resources" and beyond.

In the image below, you will see that in Notion the list goes till number 8.

You don't have to use the model the same way, but you can definitely use the parts of it that you find useful.

By customizing a successful system to fit your own unique strengths and weaknesses, you will be much more likely to achieve the level of success that you are striving for.
